Lisa Mills

Lisa Mills is a Fractional Controller at Crews & co. With over 30 years of experience in both public and private accounting, Lisa offers clients deep expertise and dependable guidance across a wide range of financial functions. Known for her integrity, professionalism, and ability to quickly adapt to new environments, she helps small businesses establish strong financial processes that support long-term success and profitability.

Lisa holds a BS in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant College. She also passed the CPA exam in 1990.

Experience

• Lisa’s career spans more than three decades, during which she has held roles such as Financial Controller, Finance Director, and Tax Specialist. She brings a multi-disciplinary skill set that includes accounting, tax, auditing, HR, payroll, and administration. Her work spans public accounting (7 years), municipalities, and private sector companies in the service, manufacturing, and legal industries.
• Outside the office, Lisa enjoys working out, spending time outdoors, and cheering on her favorite teams. She was also a proud member of the Louisiana Tech University Women’s Powerlifting Team, which won a national championship during her sophomore year.
