Mark Sapienza and Ray Chang Join Crews & co. as Growth Consultants
Crews & co. is pleased to announce Mark Sapienza and Ray Chang as the firm’s newest Growth Consultants!
Mark Sapienza has extensive experience working with companies generating revenues exceeding half a billion dollars. He has expertise in strategy, go-to-market execution, and talent management. Mark is based out of North Carolina, and we’re excited to expand our team’s reach to new markets in the southeast.
Ray Chang’s background in startups, accelerators, and venture studios positions him to help launch newly funded companies. He excels in business model development, talent management, and organizational empowerment. Ray is passionate about mentoring other business owners to help them achieve ambitious business goals.

Mark Sapienza is a Growth Consultant at Crews & co. He brings a deep, diverse, practical understanding of driving sustained, profitable growth through innovation, business model development, and organizational effectiveness.
With over 35 years of leadership, marketing, sales, operations, and strategy experience, including over 20 years in executive and C-level roles, Mark has extensive expertise in strategy development and implementation (including EOS), go-to-market strategy and execution, integrations, innovation and product development processes, organizational design, and recruiting and talent management. He has worked with a diverse array of industries, including consumer and B2B durables and consumables, professional services, and industrial products.
Mark holds an MBA from Northwestern University School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Illinois University.
Ray Chang is a Growth Consultant at Crews & co. With the business versatility of a Swiss Army knife and a servant-leadership mindset, he has 20 years of experience delivering positive business outcomes for diverse startups, accelerators, and venture studios.
Ray is a natural visionary and growth accelerator passionate about training owners, operators, and portfolio companies to skillfully manage every facet of business operations, including critical communications, metrics dashboard creation, business model and process development, recruiting and training, and business change.
A business owner himself, Ray holds People, HR, and L&OD Navigator certifications. He loves mentoring other owners in strategy development, special projects, geographic market expansion, and organizational development, all aimed at empowering teams to achieve business goals, including OKRs and KPIs.
Ray earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in International Business from Union College.
